The Chef

Adriana Sierra is a native from Colombia, who has lived in the Bay Area for 15 years. She is a professional chef who does cooking with a difference. Her cooking is unique and different. It is the result of a blend of the culinary skills she learned in her country of origin, with the equally exciting recipes and flavors of international cuisine. Cooking has been and will always be a way of life for Adriana, who was nurtured in the art of cooking by her mother from her earliest age. Her mother learned the secrets of cooking at a religious trade school. She instilled in Adriana the pleasure of cooking. She honed her skills by cooking at family gatherings, where she regularly experimented with spices and new flavors. Soon after arriving in the US, Adriana worked for Whole Food Markets as a cheese specialist.  In the meantime, family and friends aware of Adriana’s hidden talents, encouraged her to turn professional, which she did five years ago.

Adriana studied hospitality management at Mission College and now runs her own business. She is rapidly being recognized by word of mouth thanks to her many satisfied customers. Adriana tailors her cooking to customers needs. She offers a genuine healthy, international menu, including recipes that take into account special diet requirements. Adriana’s cooking cannot be classified exclusively as Latino, Spanish, French or Italian. Hers is a blend of all of them. Thus earning the raving reviews she keeps receiving from clients that come into contact with her cooking for the first time.
